Tracey D. (Spoilers) – A good example for me

I just finished From the Mouth of Elijah last night. I absolutely loved it! From Matt’s arrival in Second Eden all the way to Lauren’s rescue, I was engrossed. Once again, your books have inspired me. So many characters displayed a willingness to sacrifice their lives. The deaths of Legossi, Valiant, Eagle, and Albatross were beautiful in that, despite the sorrow, hope stayed alive. Lauren was an especially realistic character in this book, and seeing her conquer her fears was amazing. Also, the love between the brother/sister pairs in this series (Matt & Lauren and Joran & Selah) have set such a good example for me. Thanks for packing so much faith and spiritual lessons into all your books!
You said I’d never guess what would happen in this book – and you were right! I never expected to discover that The Maid was really Joan of Arc! That was brilliantly played. Did you know back in the Oracles of Fire series that she was Joan, or did you have a stroke of genius while writing From the Mouth of Elijah?
I cannot wait to read The Seventh Door! I’m guessing that title refers to the seventh location Tamiel will send Matt, Bonnie, and Darcy to. (I find Tamiel’s plan very intriguing.) Speaking of Darcy, I’m looking forward to see what transpires between her and Matt. I also want to read about all the story threads that never got wrapped up in book 2…
Anyways, thanks again for another wonderful story! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep up the awesome work! My bookshelf isn’t full yet. 🙂
