My name is Tori , and hopefully I don’t take up too much of your time. “Dragons in Our Midst” was a birthday present some seven or eight years ago, and I’ve loved your books ever since. It took longer for me to love the Book they pointed to, and longer still to give my life to the One that that Book points to. Still, the Lord seems to delight in pouring His mercy on the blind and stubborn-hearted, so here I am, at long last: nineteen, and a Christian, at Yale University, watching God work miracles and He grows more and more servants out of one of the most historically anti-God campuses in the country. All praise be to Him!
Recently, a friend of mine (who is taking a gap year to be a missionary in his home country of Kenya), told me of his younger Christian friend’s struggle. His family is a company of literal witch doctors, dealing with dark spirits, and he, as a believer, has been threatened with death and demonic retribution. When my friend asked for advice, I recalled words read many years ago: “Sing, child! Sing! For psalms and hymns are your leather and mail!” The poor young man has been greatly encouraged- he actually wants to be a Gospel singer when he grows up- so thank you for being a part of helping him.
Thank you for your time, sir. God bless you and your family this Christmas season.
Sincerely,
Tori C.
