Dear Bryan Davis,
When my mother bought me your books for Christmas and my birthday (Dragons of Starlight, Tales of Starlight, Oracles of Fire, Dragons in our Midst, and now Children of the Bard) I was a little doubtful. I loved books, but I was nervous because they were “Christian books.” Now I can’t believe I thought that. These books have inspired me to learn and love God more. I yearn to know him on a personal relationship and spend time praying and praising God because of the morals taught in your books. I now want to tithe and spend time in church. I was a Christian before I read your books, but now I really understand the commitment and joy. I am only 13, but God has touched me on a personal basis and affected me life. For that I thank you.
I wish to be and author as I grow older and mature. I am already entering contests and writing a little idea that I think could be novel. Your writing is amazing and now I can write as an older person who no one would guess was me. Again I thank you.
I don’t expect you to write back, and I am really fine either way. I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me through my faith and my writing. Through your gift God has touched me. God bless you.
The one you have inspired,
Robert
