Maggie R. – Your wonderful books

Hello Mr. Davis!

My name is Maggie, and I am a big fan of your books! I love your writing style, and the fact that they’re all Christian is so amazing! 😀 Thank you for writing such wonderful, uplifting (and not to mention convicting) novels for young adults and not-so-young adults alike. 😛
I went to the workshop you held at Christian Center School in Coeur d’ Alene. And it was so cool to meet you! Thank you so much for doing tours like this. It seems like all of my favorite authors live waaaay over on the other side of the continent. So when I heard that you were coming here, I was so happy.
But anyway! Sorry, I get to rambling sometimes. 😛 I love your books, and I just wanted to send this to let you know what an encouragement your books are. The characters are such excellent role models for me. Especially Bonnie. She is such a Christ-like example, and a lot of the things that she says really apply to my life, and ( as I mentioned earlier) convict me. And the Prayer Journal that she keeps (I guess that’s what you’d call it), was such a wonderful idea, I use it myself.
Writing my prayers down really helps me to think things through. And I never would have thought of it if it wasn’t for Bonnie. Well actually you, I guess, since you were the one to actually write the book. 😛
But, thank you again for your books. And not just the DioM story world either. Echoes From the Edge is another of my top favorites. And I love it not just because of the emotionally impacting story line. I also love the music theme. I love to play piano, so these books are always a good reminder to me to play for Jesus, and not for the people or the glory. In fact, these books mean so much to me that I made fan art. I know you probably get a lot of these, but my mom thought I should send it to you, and my dad thought I should send it to you, and my friend thought I should send it to you… So, I sent it to you. 🙂
I guess it’s basically a “Manga-fied” version of the Eternity’s Edge cover. I’m not sure what else you’d call it. 😛 So, here it is.
This is one of my numerous fan arts. It's a "mangafied" version of Eternity's Edge by Bryan Davis.
Ta da! It isn’t very good. There’s all these sketchy pencil lines, and the building in the background it too light. And her chin is too pointy. But, I thought I might as well send it to you. 😛
Thank you for reading this, and thank you (again) for you books! Your wonderfulwonderfulwonderful books! 😀
