Caleb M. – Such an Adventure!

Wow where to start? Well, let me begin by saying that you are my all favorite author! Yeah, yeah I’m sure you hear it a lot. However, it really means something to me.
I began reading your books in about 5th grade and haven’t stopped since. It was in this year that I first became…well, addicted to the stories of dragons. With my already out of
control imagination it was almost love at first sight. I remember the day that my dad gave me the book. Up until that time I had never read anything that large, but the cover of Billy and Bonner back-lit by a glowing dragon greatly interested me.
So I gave it a chance. Flash forward to 2am and you would see a younger version of me laying in bed, face pressed to the book and eyes squinted to aid my tired eyes. Logic said I should stop, mind said I would be too tired the next morning, but my imagination said DON’T you DARE put that DOWN. For the next few years I promoted your book to first my brothers all 3 of them (they all were sucked in too and you saved my one brother from hating books). I acted out the books, added in my own characters (yeah I totally created a male Oracle of Fire so you should have seen me when I read about one).
Not only did these books teach me to love to read (which I did and soon became the best reader in my class), but they also talk me some great Christian lessons.
Bonnie: I learned how to be pure live Silver
Billy: I learned faith
Prof: I learned what concrete belief is
Walter: How far a sense of humor can go
Ashley: How to be intelligent and believe in a creator
Sapphira: How to trust in God even when we want to give up
And so many more
Anyways, I just wanted to thank you for taking me on such an adventure!!!
The countless nights of staying up to finish the books cause I was stuck in suspense even though it was my fourth time reading the book were some of my greatest memories. You can be sure someday my kids won’t need to read some silly Harry Potter series … No, they will be reading the works of my favorite author!
Sincerely Spellbound,
Caleb
