Mr. Davis,
I am sure many have contacted you about your stories since I last did so right before I finished Dragons in Our Midst, therefore I do not expect you to thoroughly recall what I said, this was a while ago, I have grown physically, mentally, and spiritually since then, partially thanks to your stories.
But anyways, I just want to thank you for writing these books; I just finished Oracles of Fire and it touched me equally if not even more so than Dragons in Our Midst. The theme of love and sacrifice that you used to mold the story was beautiful! It taught me the value of service to others and the sacrifice anyone can make to place a positive influence into another’s heart, and that even the worst of people can turn around and be saved, just as Goliath and Naamah did.
Your stories helped me see that God will guide us through situations that seem impossible, such as Bonnie escaping the influence of the candlestone while facing Devin. Goliath and Makaidos showed me that undying, unconditional love sometimes calls for sacrifice. I laughed with Walter, I shed tears for Sapphira Adi, I cheered on the heroes of the story, cringed as they fell, and let out a sigh of relief as they rose again, and I shed tears of joy for all the couples who finally married and those who made their way through heaven’s gate.
Mr. Davis I tried, but I just cannot put into words all I had learned and had been reminded of reading the books God has given you the talent to write, I have already written a novel myself with this email! So, I’ll end with thank you, and I cannot wait to begin reading Children of the Bard and learning the valuable lessons I am sure are contained within!
Thank you for your time,
Adam
