Thank you to all who have participated in the 15-years-of-Raising-Dragons celebration. I will draw the winners for the clay dragons and the sew-on patches soon.
Regarding the grand prize, if you collected all of the letters from the posts this month, now you need to know what to do with them.
With each letter, go back one in the alphabet. For example, if you have a letter b, then make it a letter a. If you have a letter f, then make it a letter e.
Once you have altered all of your collected letters, then unscramble them to create a line from Merlin’s Riddle at the beginning of Raising Dragons.
Do not post the solution. Email it to me at bryan@daviscrossing.com. I will collect correct answers through July 3 and draw a name from them on July 4. The winner will receive all 12 Dragons in our Midst books in hardcover. (U.S. addresses only.)
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi! I know I haven’t been commenting, but I have been reading these posts and I’ve really enjoyed looking back on each of the books. Your books made up a major part of my teenage years, and they’ve helped shape me as both a person and a writer.
Thanks for being awesome.
Awesome? How kind of you. 🙂 I’m glad my books have been such a help.
I’ve read all of these books at least twice and I agree with Sarah. These books were a major part of my teenage years (and still are). Your books were one of the reasons I decided to become a Christian and I have always wanted to write a life-changing book like you did ever since reading them. Your books have so much impact on whoever reads them. You cleverly inserted the message of Jesus into a fun and innovative book so that the message is getting to all people, both the saved and the lost. Your books encourage those who know Jesus to use their individual gifts to serve Him and it convicts the sinners of their ways and shows them the alternative path. I can’t recommend your books enough to my friends, to be honest. Thank you so much for writing these books! God has used these books to change my life and the lives of countless others. I hope and pray you continue writing books like these far into the future using this wonderful God-given gift.
Shelby, your words are a huge blessing. Thank you for letting me know. May I post your testimony in other places?
I saw that you had posted my testimony on Facebook and I was so excited and honored! XD My mom had been scrolling through your posts and thought that it sounded similar to how I wrote and asked me. I was speechless. I couldn’t believe that you had chosen my comment to post! I was ecstatic! By the way, I noticed that there haven’t been any new critic groups or any other kind of post here in quite some time. Have you stopped this blog? I really enjoyed getting content from here. I used some of your writing tips in my own writing and I think I’ve really improved because of it.
