I am launching a message forum that focuses on the creative arts – Writing, Music, Art, and Performance Art. The forums include questions and answers on each of the four artistic categories as well as one for each category where you can post and discuss your works in progress.
The work-in-progress forums are set to “private,” meaning that only registered users will be able to access them. All other forums are public, though only registered users can post topics or replies.
The forum is here, or you can access it on the blog’s submenu where it says, “The Author’s Chair Forum.” If you want to participate, be sure to read and follow the rules.
At the bottom of the sidebar you will see the most recent topics and replies so you can quickly access new posts.

I signed up, but haven’t received my password yet. This sounds great, Mr. Davis! 🙂
It is supposed to be an automated system. I don’t know how long it takes to get a password.
Okay, hope I get it soon!
Have you checked your spam or junk mail folder?
Yes, not there.
Since you are commenting here with a user name, aren’t you already registered? I’m not sure how it works. 🙂
Well, I filled out the little form in the comments section and I recieve your emails of new posts. So, maybe I’m signed up. But I don’t have a password or anything.
Try posting a reply in the forums.
I tried to subscribe to your blog again, but it said that I already did. So, I have subscribed to your blog.
There’s a box that says I have to be logged in to reply. Should I try to sign up again?
Try going to the login link on the first forum page and see what it says.
In the register section there’s a yellow-bordered box that says “Your username must be unique, and cannot be changed later. We use your email address to email you a secure password and verify your account.”
Should I just try to re-submit?
I suppose so. This system is new to me. Maybe someone can look into bbpress registration on WordPress and let me know how this works.
Hey, Mr. Davis, I got in by using my WordPress account. Can’t wait to talk with you in the forum.
Great! Thank you for your persistence.
